Crappy customer service

So, remember that mail that I got that should have gone a few neighborhoods away? Well, I got it back again. Eventually, I ended up giving it to Evan (he lives on the street) so he could deliver it for me. Still havn't recieved the package. I did actually get a call from the local post office last night. I explained all of my problems, etc.. and he said that he thinks it is the substitute delivery person and they will have a nice discussion. We shall see if clears up. I asked what I should do about my missing package, he said contact the sender and have them deal with it. Urgh. I'm still not happy.

Yesterday, I made the mistake of going to Fry's. I was picking up some xmas presents for family. I wanted a memory card, so after waiting 5 minutes to get someone to help me, a sales person manually wrote some stuff on a piece of paper and told me to take it to the front (they normally print stuff out). Anyways, I got in line and waited for 15 mins to get to the head of the line. I finally get to the register. I have three things. The employee scanned the first 2 and told me the total. I reminded him that the piece of paper on the top is for a memory card. He looked REALLY worried. So, for the next 30 minutes (not exageraring) he ran around trying to talk to a manager and staring at the printer. The problem was, he was very timid, so every got in line to talk to the manager before he did. So, after running around holding the paper above his head forever and trying to read the employee manual a few times, he comes back and says I should buy these 2 things and a lady at the register 2 down will help me out with the memory card. So, I buy the stuff, get the rebates, and go down 2 registers. At this point, I realize the 'quote' system is down, and that is why they are having so much trouble. So, I sit there, trying to be patient as the lady takes my credit card and runs around holding a piece of paper above her head for 15 mins. She then shows up with the memory card in one hand and my credit card in the other and says 'You want to pay cash?'. I notified her that she is holding MY credit card and I gave it to her as a symbol of me wanting to pay using my credit card. Eventually she starts to hand fill out a credit card reciept (like the one where they use bison to drag a stone table across your card to take an imprint of your card on triplicate carbon copies). She has me sign abunch of forms, etc.. and hands me my credit card back. I notify her that there is a rebate on this memory card and I still expect to get it. She kinda looks at my dumpfounded, grabs the memory card and starts running around again. I stand there.... waiting and waiting some more.... Eventually she comes back with the rebate and the credit card reciept and tells me to fill in my address so they can send me the computer generated reciept later. After signing that, she gives me all the paperwork and tells me I need to show it at the door and I can leave now. I notified her that I still needed the card I just purchased. She said 'I thought I gave it to you'. I look in the bags (not there), I feel my butt and the rest of my hot body (not there either) and declare "No, I don't have it, you took it when you got the rebates". She looks around a little, walks to the back counter looking, etc.. and comes back "I don't have it, can you check again". I take my wallet, phone, and keys out of my pocket, slam them down on the counter, and tell her "Its not there, if you don't believe you can come feel my pockets". She looks at me again and tells me that she will have to call security and have them review the tapes to 'figure out' where it went. So, she goes to the back counter, starts to call, and starts waving my memory card around in her hand. I yell loudly across the room "That is my card... that one.... the one in your hand" Eventually, she comes back to the desk and says "I said credit card". I told her I dont really care what she think she said... she said card... and I wanted my damn memory card because I've been waiting for them to check me out for over 45 minutes. She starts to argue with me again and I said "I don't give a damn what you said, give me my damn card and let me leave!!" So, I grabbed the card out of her hand, the rest of my stuff, and left.

Time looking for products = 30 mins
Total products purchased = 3
Time in line = 15 minutes
Grand total time spent at Fry's = 1 hour and 45 minutes
Time at register = 1 FRICKING HOUR

What pisses me off is that no employee seemed to care that I've been waiting for help for 1 hour AT THE REGISTER, nobody apologized, and that 6 people checked out at the register next to my originaly register while I was waiting and another 5+ next to the 2nd register I was waiting at.

Oh what fun it is to

... deal with the USPS. For the last few weeks, our ongoing delivery problems with the USPS have started to peak. Last week, I got somebody else's mail. I walked over to their house and gave it to them. Much to my surprise, they said... ohh I have a package for you. ?UhH? Sure enough, they had a package for me. There was no note on my door or in my mail. So, I decided I got tired of the post office not picking up our mail and misdelivering other mail. I called them. I received a complain number and I was told to call back and reference it if I had any more issues pop up.
Fast foward to Saturday. I get someone else's mail. They number is the same, the street is WAY different and a few neighborhoods away. I decide to let it go. This morning I check the status of all the undelivered packages I have out and notice that one was 'delivered' to me on Saturday. I received no package. So, I called up the USPS again, referenced a number, told them about the misdelivered mail and started to ask about my package. Before I get 4 numbers of the tracking number off, she tells me she can't help with that. I will need to look online. I told her I looked online and thats why I'm calling. It said delivered.. I didn't get it. She asked if I checked my post office. I told her 'No'. I didn't pay for it to be delivered to the post office.. I paid for it to be delivered to my house. She asked if I had to sign anything when they delivered it. I reminded her that I was calling because I DID NOT get a delivery that they say they completed and that there was no delivery person. Urgh..

This was getting sureally stupid.

She then said all she could do was write down the complaint. I told her great!! That was the reason I called!! She was silent for 30 seconds. She then irratatedly asked... 'So would you like to make a complaint?' OMFG!!! No wonder I don't get my mail delivered correctly.
